OMEGA Global is one year of your life dedicated to God and others through discipleship and mission. OMEGA is an one-year intercultural certificate program at Summit Pacific College. It stands for One Year Ministry Education with Global Awareness.
Join us as we travel to East Asia, primarily focusing on Japan, to serve local missions.
WHAT IS OMEGA GLOBAL?
OMEGA Global is designed to prepare students to broaden their global perspective and demonstrate how that impacts their local faith. Our desire for students who enrol in the OMEGA Program is that they would be leaders in their respective communities, completely engaged with the local church and the call that God has designed for them! This is accomplished through academic study in ten SPC courses that range from Apologetics to Intercultural Communication to Team Leadership. Further, students can use their earned credits for further education in universities and colleges.

Omega Students should be prepared to spend approximately $200 per semester for books.
Omega Students are also responsible to pay for the following extra travel expenses as required: backpack, passport, and vaccinations.
Note: Due to unforeseen changes in airline ticket prices and exchange rates, there may be a slight surcharge added to the Spring 2025 invoice.
Course Requirements & Transferability
The OMEGA one-year discipleship program begins in September and continues for nine consecutive months. OMEGA Global includes a short term mission trip to a foreign country. The "intercultural missions" experience is mandatory for all students in OMEGA Global. To date, OMEGA teams have ministered in many regions of the world including Latin America, Asia, Europe and Africa. Recently, our teams have travelled to Uganda, Vietnam, Thailand, amongst others. The costs for the trip component to the OMEGA Global program are identified on the college cost sheet.
Students who successfully complete the OMEGA program will have 30 college credits that are fully transferable to any other academic program at Summit.
