The Campus Pastors, Dean of Students, Residence Supervisors, and several student leaders have completed an Emergency First Aid Course. A list of qualified First Aid attendants and First Aid kits are located in various locations on campus. For medical care, Canadian students must have their provincial health care number. International students are required to pay cash for services and may contact their insurance company for reimbursement. The college does not provide medical coverage. Students are usually covered under their parents’ medical up to the age of 25 depending on the policy. Students are expected to monitor their own health and refrain from coming to school/class if they are ill.

Resident Supervisors and Assistants are upperclassmen selected because of their desire and ability to serve and minister to their fellow students. The RSs/RAs are available to serve as spiritual leaders, friends, and mentors. They function as facilitators in communication and catalysts of ideas and activities in their living environment. As such, they work to build an atmosphere of “community” on their floor. The RSs/RAs are present to see that the best possible living-learning-growing environment exists, and they endeavour to see that it is as free as possible of hindrances that can hamper wholesome residence life.
-
September Airport Pickup: Free shuttle service for new students is provided for pick-up from either the Abbotsford or Vancouver airport. Information regarding carrier, airport, flight number, and date and time of arrival must be emailed to Mark Hawkes (mhawkes@summitpacific.ca) no later than Friday, August 16.
Christmas Airport Shuttle: Shuttle service is provided for drop-off in December and pick-up in January for either the Abbotsford or Vancouver airport. There is a fee for this service payable in cash to the driver prior to boarding the shuttle to help cover costs.
